CRUISING AND RACING CATAMARANS AND TRIMARANS SAILS
TESTIMONIALS
“Hi Dave - I wanted to let you know the Code 0 sail is the greatest addition to my Catana period. It has increased the performance the boat and has become my “go to” foresail - I use it constantly and could not be happier with it. Flying it off a bowsprit it is incredibly efficient, I routinely am able to sail at 75-80% of the current wind speed. Regards,"

“I can echo that sentiment - I've had the best sailing legs with my Calvert code zero, period....just have to tweak the sprit set up. Ken Catana 431 "Jammin" ...I'd be interested in Scott's set up!"

“We have only had Calvert Sails on our boats for the last 30 years or more, and our current set has been with us for near 20 years and two boats. They still perform very well and aside from normal restitching & maintenance have required little effort to keep them working. We have the 41 foot sloop Weatherly and if our boat moves, 95% of the time it is with sail. We sail from anchor to anchor so needless to say Dave’s Calvert Sails get plenty use. We do not take it out on vacation but live on her full time. After so much ware and time in use it is fairly unusual for any sail to hold it’s shape but these are doing a very good job of it. When these sails have to finally be retired will definitely be knocking on Dave Calvert’s door."

“Finally broke out the new sails and OMG is an understatement. I believe that I have finally realized the potential of my 28R "turbo". Tacking thru 90 vs 110 or more, pinching off mono hulls from leeward - Load Path Main and Jib are AWESOME! The Northern Century will become a gran prix event here in the PNW if it isnt already (the likes of Eric Jesperson and Carl Buchan) and you can gladly add it to your list of successes. While I have raced all my life in dinghys, I have only skippered my boat across a starting line once or twice and that was 12 years ago ... A lifetime achievement was realized for me this past weekend and thanks for being a part of it."
“We have been out for a couple days sailing.Very happy with the performance and we're looking forward to sailing her in the open water. Both the main and jib are substantially larger than the original sails and perform well in light winds. Exceptionally well! Regards,"
