TRIRADIAL CUT LAMINATES OF POLYESTER, PENTEX, AND CARBON

With triradial cuts and high modulus laminates, the design shapes can be locked in for a wide range of conditions. These show the performance advantages as the winds build and other materials begin to stretch, moving the draft aft and increasing the depth of the 3D shape.

LOAD PATH CONSTRUCTION

Our Load Path sails offer a great blend of low stretch, light weight and reasonable prices. Do not confuse these with other sailmakers "membrane" sails that perform well but have short lives. Our in-house developed construction process produces performance sails that will give many years of race winning performance. 

We start with well proven base materials, from top sailcloth manufacturers, and use a cross cut to accurately position the 3D shape. The sail is assembled in one piece with seams glued. Then, continuous fibers are hand laminated in a load mapping of the sail. These fibers bridge the seams eliminating loads on the seams. The seams are sewn along with batten pockets, corner reinforcements, and edge tapes.
